With just a couple weeks to go, the beginning of the 2007 MotoGP season kicks off in Qatar in the Persian Gulf.

The first day of the MotoGP season starts on Thursday, March 10.

The circuit consists of several medium to high speed turns and a long straight, so it should provide for an exciting race. It will be interesting to see how well John Hopkins does after his high-speed crash in testing a couple weeks ago.

I'm certain Rossi will be back with a clear desire to try to regain his title, but I don't know how well Hayden will fair against his teammate Pedrosa, let alone the rest of the very strong field. Hayden is still young, and I can see him being a champion again, I just don't think it will be this year. I'm also looking at Edwards to finish strong this season.
